Being the first overseas CPD training centre for teachers for Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Suman developed close links with provincial and local governments in the province which has a population of over 70 million and the third highest GDP among China’s provinces. With business development, Suman’s contact has expanded to Beijing, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Hubei province.
Suman is also a founding member of the Sino-British Education Consortium and one of the largest Chinese educational corporations in the North of England. It has been acting as an important bridge between the UK and China in educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation. Working with over 160 schools, universities, and other educational institutions, professional bodies and business organisations, Suman has been successfully sponsoring and organising thousands of events and training programmes at different levels.
We have also helped dozens of schools to forge sister-school links and facilitated mutual visits, teacher and students exchange programmes, languages teaching, culture enrichment activities, etc.
Based in revitalizing Manchester, Suman is proud to be great part of local communities. Our premises become a hub for Sino-British exchange and for sharing, frequently hosting visits from educators, local council representatives, business leaders, schools and universities, the Consul General of the PRC and neighbours.
